Snowfall in Madrid
This was the last big snowfall that took place in Madrid . It was February 2005 and I had never seen anything like this! These photos were taken next to my house, early in the morning. I remember it perfectly because I was on my way to college to make an exam! (By the way, I passed it!)

How wonderful photos!! The scene is just like other night, when I was taking a walk with my granddaughter 00.10 am !! Her mother was not here, so I could be a little bit naughty granny, but I know, this girl will remember snowing and white trees all her life long and a midnight walk with funny granny. Thank you for showing these!
We dont get a lot of snow usually in Maple Ridge. This area is one of the warmest parts of Canada. So this years abundant snowfall was thoughroughly enjoyed by many!

No it isn't very common in the city, but i like it very muuuuuch! (in the mountains, not far away it is) But you know Madrid is placed in the middle of the penninsula, so the weather is not softened by the sea. In winters days are very cold, reaching below 0ºC and summertime is really hot, still 40ºC! that's a kind of madness! we have to keep a complete wardrobe/closet :)
Me sorprendí mucho ver la cantidad de nieve en Madrid. Me imaginé que se trataba de una fotografía de algún país Escandinavo, pero nunca de la Península Ibérica.
Gracias por estas magníficas fotografías de invierno en Madrid.

Wow, your snow photos are so beautiful!
Normally, I would be happy for some snow but I'm in the mood for summer now.
