Oviedo, Spain (March)

Oviedo Cathedral, s. XIII

Oviedo, Sta María del Naranco, little church, S. IX
Oviedo, San Miguel de Lillo, little church from IX century

Oviedo street

Oviedo, Campo de San Francisco Park
Oviedo has Woody Allen!

Hmmm... lots of traditional desserts here!

Oviedo is the main city of Principado de Asturias, at 450 km from Madrid in the north of Spain. I was there for a few days on March and I think it's such an elegant and classic city!

Snowfall in Madrid

This was the last big snowfall that took place in Madrid . It was February 2005 and I had never seen anything like this! These photos were taken next to my house, early in the morning. I remember it perfectly because I was on my way to college to make an exam! (By the way, I passed it!)

A street in some place in the world (La Havanna)

A year ago... I was there, in this street, taking this photo.
It's amazing how time goes by and how our life changes.

Fachada en luz y sombra

I don't think this photo is beatiful, but don't know why i like it! Maybe beacuse there is light and shadow, don't know! It's a building looked from a friend's window.

Madrid isn't used to be a sky-scraper city. It's true that there are high buildings, but I think we don't have an important skyline like other cities. Actually, 4 towers are being built up to the sky where the Real Madrid' Ciudad Deportiva used to be. This photo has been taken from the North Park, and the stone-man is a Madrid-honoring to Juan Santamaria, national Costa Rica hero. You can only see 2 of the 4 towers, but i'll show you the others someday... just keep on visiting me! ;-)

Madrid

Christmas in Gran Via... lights, people everywhere, traffic-jam... and that's more true if we talk about a Sunday, when everyone have the time to go to city-center and do their christmas shopping. Even that it's worth to take a walk along one of the streets with more captivation of Madrid.
An advice... take the underground! Posted by Picasa
